Canadian screen actor, best known for her role in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, beginning in 2019. Other appearances include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay who is an actress, director and producer playwright educator and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around playing in rehearsals for her plays as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk was in a variety of commercials when she was a kid. She graduated with a Bachelors in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen.. She married Seth Cooperman in 2009. Samuel and Levi Cooperman are their names for their two sons. The actress played Bo Dennis in Lost Girl, the Canadian show. The character she played Bo as well as Lauren as love-making, same-sex couples on Lost Girl was named one of the series's all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN and declared Top Television Couple for 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk attracted a huge online audience due to the popularity of their series.
